About Me
From the vibrant streets of Kingston, Jamaica, to the bustling food scenes of New York and Atlanta, my journey in the culinary world has been fueled by a lifelong passion for food—not just as sustenance, but as a profound expression of culture and creativity.
Growing up, I was fascinated by the art of restaurant conceptualization, and by the age of 15, I was already building and refining dining concepts, instinctively understanding the nuances that make a dining experience memorable.
After moving to New York, I was captivated by the city's ability to support an array of niche restaurants, each delivering exquisitely crafted dishes within uniquely innovative ambiances. This experience broadened my perspective on what makes a restaurant thrive.
My subsequent move to Atlanta allowed me to delve deeper into the industry, working as a hostess and server. Here, I learned the intricacies of restaurant operations from the back of the house to the art of mixology. My interest was particularly piqued by how expertly curated cocktails could enhance a dining experience, mirroring the careful curation required across all aspects of a restaurant.
With over seven years of hands-on experience in the industry and having sampled hundreds of restaurants, I have honed my ability to diagnose and rectify the challenges faced by dining establishments.
My Foodie Confessions is the culmination of this journey—born from a vision to help restaurant owners establish their brands and succeed in a competitive market. I bring not just expertise, but a genuine enthusiasm for transforming every dining experience into a story worth telling.
